Line Stopping

Line Stopping is a means of isolating a live system, providing a shut off point where none exist. This service is useful for cost reduction and waste reduction within our pressurized systems. CLIFFS provides line stops for a wide range of sizes on virtually any class of pipe. We stock materials and fittings for emergency use. Linestops can be utilized on virtually all class of pipe and can drastically reduce costs of services and repairs on live systems.

Live Tapping or Hot/Wet Tapping

Live Tapping or "Hot/Wet" Tapping is a means of creating a branch connection on a live piping system without any service disruption. We perform live taps ranging from 19 mm - 750 mm (3/4" - 30") in diameter on all class of pipe.

Insertion Valves

Insertion valves are isolation points installed on live systems. Our insertion valves are offered for watermains sized 100 mm - 400 mm (4" - 16") in diameter on PVC, Ductile, Cast Iron and Asbestos Concrete pipe.
